Position Title: Avionics Specialist

Contract Type: Full Time – 12 Months (Potential for Permanent Position)
Job Overview: The Avionics Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality outputs within their designated functional area. This role may also involve temporarily assuming the responsibilities of a Production Supervisor as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee that all assignments are completed promptly while adhering to federal regulations, customer standards, and internal policies, ensuring that all team members are effectively engaged in their designated tasks.
- Oversee and adjust routine and non-routine labor hours to prevent exceeding the allocated estimated hours, ensuring that job revisions are submitted in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily and spontaneous team meetings to facilitate the swift communication of critical information to maintenance crews.
- Encourage on-the-job training through practical assignments and mentoring, ensuring that all necessary OJT documentation is completed in accordance with ATS requirements.
- Provide ongoing feedback and performance coaching to all members of the assigned team.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an airframe certification in compliance with FAR 65 and have a minimum of 24 months of hands-on experience with the procedures, practices, inspection techniques, materials, tools, and equipment typically utilized in this field.
- Airframe license is mandatory.
