Vascular Surgery Division Chief

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced vascular surgeon to lead our Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, advancing our research and education programs, and contributing to the development of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Division of Vascular Surgery and provide strategic direction for our team
- Develop and implement clinical programs to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
- Contribute to the development of our research and education programs, including mentoring students and residents
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive vascular care to our patients
- Participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives to advance our mission and goals
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) and be eligible for licensure in Minnesota
- Completion of an approved fellowship in vascular surgery and eligibility for certification in vascular surgery
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and stakeholders
- A commitment to academic medicine and a passion for teaching and mentoring
- Experience in vascular surgery and a strong track record of clinical and research achievements
