Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Nurse, you will need to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skills, teamwork, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Critical thinking is crucial in this dynamic setting, where various surgical specialties are available for learning, including but not limited to:

About the Unit:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead nursing efforts in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs while managing resources effectively.
  • Support the mission and vision of the facility, ensuring quality care through performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Required:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse diploma or equivalent.
