Job Summary

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team in the Skippack, PA shop. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel and gasoline heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel and gasoline engines
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Replace defective parts and perform overhauls as needed
  • Support additional shop work, including vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
  • CDL and medical card
  • Experience working with equipment in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries
  • OSHA, MSHA, or other relevant safety certifications
