Job Summary:

The Rochester School Department is seeking a highly skilled Technology Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing technology equipment, with a focus on software and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair technology equipment, including software and systems integration
Assist with the selection of technology hardware and software to ensure seamless systems integration
Train and mentor new PC technicians in duties and district best practices
Troubleshoot software and systems issues
Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues
Assist with Active Directory and Group Policy management
Provide technical assistance to faculty and district employees
Set up and troubleshoot Interactive Boards, iPads, Chromebooks, and mobile devices
Maintain proficiency with current and new technologies

Requirements:

Associate degree or college certification in computers
Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
Minimum 6 months of experience in setup and troubleshooting Active Directory, Windows server, and wired and wireless networks
Other qualifications as deemed essential for successful performance in the position
