Audio Visual Technician

VLCM is a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and Configure AV Systems: Install, configure, and test audio visual systems, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage AV installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Collaboration and Design: Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement AV systems that meet specific requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with AV equipment and systems, and provide training and support to clients on the use of installed AV systems.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and equipment inventory, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV installation and project management.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of AV systems, including wiring, audio, video, and control systems, and experience with leading brands and equipment.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D) are a plus.
