Math Interventionist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Math Interventionist to join our team at North Panola School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to make our teaching team more effective in achieving student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate all activities of the teaching team to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
* Assume responsibility for the continual improvement of instruction quality, including the development and implementation of resource files and specialized curriculum materials
* Serve as adviser and counselor to student teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
* Oversee and coordinate clerical work, assist with scheduling, and plan individualized approaches to student learning problems
* Encourage team members to adopt new methods and materials, and offer in-service workshops and training as needed
* Coordinate interdisciplinary units of study and meet with other lead teachers to discuss new materials and programs
* Meet with parents as necessary and assist team members in evaluating student performance

Terms of Employment:

* Salary and work year are determined by the Board
* Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel
