About the Role
">We are seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Office Bldg East Pavillion. As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with various types of cancer. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Job Summary
">The Oncology Nurse Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, assessing patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and developing strategies to address these needs. You will also provide education to patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care techniques. Additionally, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions between different levels of care.
Key Responsibilities

- Document patient interactions, assessment results, and treatment plans in the electronic medical record system
Requirements
">- Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; encouraged to obtain within 3 years of hire
