About the Job

The Supplier Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce risks
  • Manage supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging suppliers to adopt lean manufacturing practices and other best-in-class methods
  • Provide training and support to suppliers on our company's quality and safety standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in supply chain management or a related field
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
