Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring a pleasant experience.
  • Addressing any guest concerns or feedback to the management team during each shift.
  • Utilizing persuasive sales techniques to inform customers about CANarchy products and make suitable recommendations.
  • Processing drink orders accurately and promptly, whether from patrons at the bar or seated guests.
  • Proactively checking on customer satisfaction and preferences to enhance their experience.
  • Efficiently operating the Aloha POS system for all orders.
  • Coordinating with management to maintain accurate beer inventory and accounting.
  • Verifying customer identification to comply with age restrictions for alcohol sales.
  • Adhering to state liquor regulations and company policies to promote responsible consumption.
  • Exhibiting teamwork and leadership while collaborating with fellow staff members.
  • Managing the quality and freshness of beverage garnishes as necessary.
  • Handling payments and ensuring accurate cash management.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of ice, glasses, and other necessary items.
  • Keeping the bar visually appealing and well-organized.
  • Ordering and managing inventory for draft systems and bar supplies.
  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards in the bar area.
  • Following all company policies and safe food handling practices.
  • Providing timely food service and proper preparation of food items as required.
  • Maintaining stock in retail and packaged beer areas as applicable.

Additional Duties:

Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Knowledge of liquor laws and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using the Aloha POS system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Quick and accurate cash handling skills.
  • Experience in resolving customer issues effectively.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform duties in various environments, including high-stress situations. You should be able to lift and move items as needed and be comfortable standing, walking, and engaging with customers.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Minimum Certification: Current Alcohol Certification Certificate

Minimum Experience: 1 Year

Age Requirement: 21 years or older
