Job Title: Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our sales team. As the dominant media company in the area, we have comprehensive marketing tools - both on-air and online. The successful candidate will generate revenue by selling advertising to local businesses on the station's multiple platforms and increase shares of existing businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue by selling advertising to local businesses on the station's multiple platforms
  • Increase shares of existing businesses
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of advertising sales experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong formal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to cold call and diagnose challenges and opportunities of local businesses
  • Positive, results-oriented attitude
  • Accountability within a Sales environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Business preferred

Licensing/Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
