HVAC Field TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing field service maintenance and emergency repairs on telecommunication and data center HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests, ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing 24/7 support for urgent HVAC issues
- Travel independently to various job sites, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
- Provide accurate and detailed documentation of all service activities, ensuring clear communication with colleagues and clients
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and service commercial equipment up to 10 tons
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid EPA Certification
- Completion of an HVAC school program with a minimum of 200 hours of instruction
- Ongoing professional development through 20-80 hours of continuing education training annually
- Possession of a valid driver's license that meets company standards
- DOT Medical Certification
- Completion of 150 Electrical code hours and a minimum of 4,000 – 6,000 work hours in the field
