We are seeking a Community Living Coordinator to join our team at Helen Keller Services in Port Washington, NY.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that promote independence and interdependence among residents.
  • Provide training and guidance in essential life skills, including communication, personal management, and home management.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during shifts.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who are DeafBlind or have multiple disabilities.

Requirements
  • Four years of experience as a residence/group home aide preferred.
  • Familiarity with American Sign Language highly recommended.
  • Valid New York State Driver's license required.

A salary of approximately $21.63 per hour (based on a 40-hour workweek) is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off and career advancement opportunities.
