Job Title: Corporate Controller

The Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting functions of the company, establishing and implementing financial policies, performing risk assessments, and preparing monthly financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  2. Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Review and complete monthly detailed account reconciliations and journal entries.
  4. Monitor closing processes, expenses, reimbursements, and payroll administration.
  5. Improve closing and reporting cycles.
  6. Reconcile book vs. perpetual inventory monthly and participate in the routine physical inventory process.
  7. Maintain and manage plant-wide fixed assets.
  8. Supervise production of the weekly payroll, approve cash requirements, and ensure tax payments are submitted properly.
  9. Support compliance activities for payroll and 401k reporting.
  10. Plan, lead, and ensure all audit activity for the company is properly executed.
  11. Perform internal audits and financial risk assessments, and facilitate corrective actions.
  12. Oversee financial and accounting staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business Administration required, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Ten + years or more of related experience required.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with a manufacturing company highly preferred.
