Key Responsibilities:

  1. Direct a team of skilled professionals in the successful execution of complex landscape projects, incorporating elements such as lawn maintenance, plant installation, mulching, paving, retaining walls, French drains, and yard drains.
  2. Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members and monitor progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to specified standards.
  3. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of specialized equipment and tools, ensuring optimal performance and proper use.
  4. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of junior team members.
  5. Regularly inspect job sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations.
  6. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, project managers, and colleagues through clear communication and effective collaboration.
  7. Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and expenses incurred.
  8. Collaborate with senior management to develop job estimates and proposals as required.
  9. Provide coaching and guidance to team members to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 1 year's experience in landscaping, hardscaping, and drainage work.
  2. Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  3. Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, hardscaping materials, and drainage systems.
  4. Ability to drive trucks and trailers, as well as operate heavy equipment, including mini skid steers.
  5. Knowledge of the responsibilities of a Landscape Crew Leader
  6. Willingness to train the right candidate.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
