Job Summary

Exacta Land Surveyors is a leading provider of residential and commercial land surveying services across the nation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Crew Chief to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a variety of surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors, to determine elevations and property boundaries for title surveys and elevation certificates.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring the ability to move in different standing and sitting positions and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Field Manager to complete projects accurately and on time.
  • Download and upload survey data to the company network or field data collector.
  • Maintain quality of data in the field and perform accurate calculations as needed.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance, equipment, and supplies are in order.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work directives.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, clients, and other parties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of experience in the surveying industry desired.
  • Valid Driver's License and a driving record that meets our insurance requirements.
  • Ability to perform mathematical operations and understand algebra, trigonometry, and geometry.
  • Proficient in operating surveying instruments and software/e-technology/cloud-based solutions.
