Estimator/Planner - Traffic Control Specialist

AWP Safety is seeking a skilled Estimator/Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients to secure profitable business opportunities.
Your primary duties will include:
- Reviewing and clarifying proposals to ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Negotiating projects and determining project scope
- Completing estimates, including bid documents, and evaluating special conditions affecting the proposal
- Collaborating with the Operations Department to ensure accurate quotes and prospecting for business opportunities
You will be responsible for producing estimates, tracking, and managing them in SharePoint, TCR, and/or estimating spreadsheets. Additionally, you will ensure that estimates are completed in compliance with local, state, and federal MUTCD requirements and allowed set-up approvals.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Knowledge and understanding of permitting processes and costs
- Ability to analyze available information to compile into a proposal estimate
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
AWP Safety offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $65-85K, plus a 10% bonus. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
