We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our patients, residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including baked goods, entrees, and desserts
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with our quality standards and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Work effectively with our internal customers, providing excellent customer service and communication skills
- Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and implement new menu items and special events
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience in a food service or culinary role
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure ingredients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
