We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at OnTrac. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various activities, partnering with the General Manager and PM Manager to create plans that achieve short and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, Analyze, and Create KPIs: Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet the needs of the business.
  • Plan and Coordinate Sort Start Times: Coordinate sort start times and partner to define and develop staffing strategies needed to conduct the sort.
  • Develop and Mentor Team: Develop and mentor team members to meet goals and assist in professional development.
  • Champion Safety Program: Champion a safe and compliant working environment, encouraging a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Work with GM to Analyze and Prioritize Training and Labor Law Compliance: Work with the General Manager to analyze, reorganize, and prioritize training and labor law compliance.
Requirements
  • GED/Diploma Required; College Degree Preferred: A GED or diploma is required, with a college degree preferred.
  • Four Years of Experience in Logistics and/or Transportation: Four years of experience in logistics and/or transportation, or less if college degreed.
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience Managing People: A minimum of 3 years of experience managing people, with 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office and Mathematical Skills: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, including the ability to give honest, constructive feedback.
