Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collections Services Liaison to join our team at The Alden Network. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle team, you will be responsible for driving private pay financial collection performance and reducing bad debt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate clearly with residents and family members to ensure understanding of financial responsibility and payment due dates.
  • Submit payments and payment forms to the Financial Coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the AR Aging dashboard and update collections efforts/notes.
  • Communicate with Admission Directors, AR Manager, and Sr. Collections Manager regarding refusals to pay/difficult accounts.
  • Ensure all problem accounts are referred to the legal department for further collection efforts.
  • Attend Financial Calls and provide updates on private pay accounts.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of collections experience or 2+ years of experience working in a senior housing facility.
  • Great communication skills and ability to form relationships with residents/family members.
  • Independent thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer and Excel skills.
  • Ability to travel to facilities to collect payments and meet with residents/family members.
Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years of experience working in a financial/collections role in a senior housing facility.
  • PCC software experience.
