Job Title: Experienced Daycare Teacher

At Kiddie Academy of Steele Creek, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children to grow and develop.

Job Summary

As an Experienced Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our children. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe, healthy, and educational environment that meets the needs of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in our children.
  • Manage classroom activities, including setup, supervision, and cleanup, to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Assist children with meal times and cleanup, promoting good hygiene and cleanliness practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Academy-wide events and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, progress, and incident reports.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the classroom and Academy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education degree or certification preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a childcare center or similar setting.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
  • Pass a state and local background check and meet all licensing requirements for the position.
