Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Enrollment Strategy Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Associate Vice President and Regional Director with the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment functions. This position is focused on attracting students to the Monett campus.

  • Oversee and manage the enrollment management software for Drury GO, utilizing best practices to track, analyze, and present institutional data. Collaborate with the AVP and Director of Institutional Research to implement data-driven strategies for enrollment.
  • Coordinate and supervise the admissions and enrollment processes, including communication strategies and the development and maintenance of student databases. Monitor daily operations, assist in the formulation of admission policies and procedures, resolve issues as they arise, and recommend necessary adjustments. Support recruitment initiatives by aiding campus directors in managing the admissions process and training staff.
  • Work in partnership with the AVP and relevant personnel in financial aid, business operations, and registration to develop strategies that enhance and expedite enrollment processes.
  • Engage in the planning and execution of various admission programs and events on and off the Monett campus, such as college visit days, open houses, career fairs, and departmental events throughout the academic year.
  • Participate in ongoing enrollment training to foster professional growth and enhance job performance.
  • Utilize personalized communication methods, including phone, email, text messaging, and virtual platforms, to guide prospective students through the application process. Serve as the primary contact for constituents in the designated territory, providing counsel on degree programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial responsibilities. Ensure prospective students have a clear understanding of the commitment, technology, and skills necessary for academic success. Consistently meet established goals and objectives related to daily activities, schedule adherence, communication flow, service quality, compliance, and program knowledge.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by department leadership.

Required Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in essential duties. The following qualifications are deemed necessary:

  • A Bachelor's degree in higher education, business, or a related field, along with relevant experience in recruitment and/or enrollment management in higher education; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in marketing and establishing external partnerships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills for organizing and managing workload.
  • Capacity to set goals, prioritize tasks, and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Aptitude for addressing common inquiries or complaints from students, faculty, military personnel, regulatory agencies, and members of the academic and business communities.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical literature, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Capability to manage deadlines and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends for outreach, special events, travel, and office responsibilities.
  • Ability to welcome and assist campus visitors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software for communication, spreadsheet management, report preparation, and presentation development.
  • A valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, reliable transportation, and readiness to travel to various campus locations.

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in higher education, business, or a related field, along with relevant experience in recruitment and/or enrollment management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
