We are enhancing our Outpatient Care Surgical Service Line and are currently in search of a Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team, committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Position Summary & Key Highlights:
  • $1500 Sign-On Bonus available for external candidates.
  • In this role, you will support the delivery of patient care under the guidance of healthcare providers and an RN Supervisor in our active surgical clinic.
Responsibilities:
  • This position will assist the General Surgical Services Provider Team or the Colorectal Team, which may involve other surgical specialties.
  • Candidates who are adaptable and capable of managing multiple tasks will thrive in this position.
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, based on clinic requirements.
Location:
  • Boise Clinic, conveniently located.
  • The Surgical Oncology role may also include outreach to other clinics.
Learn More About Our Surgical Services:Minimum Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • MA certification must be obtained within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the approved agencies:
    • American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
    • American Medical Technologists (RMA)
    • National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
  • Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare providers from recognized organizations is required at the time of hire.
  • For new MA graduates, a minimum of 100 hours of externship or relevant work experience is necessary.
