Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Clinical Leader to join our team in Correctional Mental Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our mental health services, ensuring the highest standards of care are met, and driving innovation in our treatment modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Clinical Oversight: Provide strategic direction and clinical oversight to our mental health services, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Staff Management and Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of mental health professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Treatment Modalities and Quality Improvement: Design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based treatment programs, ensuring the highest quality of care and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including medical, nursing, and operations teams, as well as external partners, such as the Department of Correction.
- Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and accreditation requirements, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
- Education and Certification: M.D. degree with active NY State license in good standing, completion of a 4-year psychiatric residency training program, and active certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of satisfactory full-time paid experience in the field of specialization, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
- Buprenorphine Waiver Training: Highly encouraged but not required.
