As a Nurse Practitioner with CHS, you will provide primary care to patients in jail-based clinics, perform intake evaluations and treatment, and provide emergency care with the support of Emergency Medicine physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care to patients in jail-based clinics
  • Perform intake evaluations and treatment
  • Provide emergency care with the support of Emergency Medicine physicians
  • Work as part of a care delivery team with strong administrative support staff, integrated nursing and mental health

Requirements:

  • Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • Current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the New York State Department of Education
  • Current certification issued by the State Education Department to prescribe medication
