**Job Summary:**

Georgia Civil, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and computing data relevant to measuring land features for company projects.

About the Job:

This position works under the supervision of a Certified Land Surveyor and Survey Crew Chief, maintaining responsibility for obtaining and computing data relevant to measuring land's features for company projects. The successful candidate will collect field data to report back to the Land Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:*

  • Set up, adjust, and operate equipment used at surveying job sites.
  • Measure, record, and calculate data based on readings from surveying instruments.
  • Lie out and recover markings, stakes, and other signifiers at work locations.
  • Communicate with management teams, regulatory agencies, and clients regarding land surveying schedules, activities, and results as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:*

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to work in a team-oriented environment and work outside.
  • The ability to meet established deadlines.
  • The ability to comply with safety procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:*

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes partially company-funded insurance, Simple IRA, paid time off, bonus plan, and other supplemental benefits.
