Position Overview:
The Brokerage Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering operational assistance to the brokerage team by effectively managing daily operational responsibilities.
This position is vital for ensuring the smooth execution of everyday operations, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and promoting efficient communication within the brokerage team.
Collaboration with brokers is essential to guarantee the prompt completion of transactions through the management of documentation and coordination with various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the execution and coordination of daily brokerage operations while supporting the enhancement of operational procedures.
Maintains and updates client information in all relevant systems with precision.
Ensures accurate and systematic record-keeping of client accounts, transactions, and other pertinent documentation, adhering to regulatory standards.
Handles customer service inquiries by responding to broker requests and questions via various communication channels.
Assists in the creation of compliance reports related to brokerage operations and collaborates with both broker and finance teams to meet business requirements.
Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies while aiding in the preparation of compliance documentation.Identifies and mitigates operational risks in collaboration with risk management teams to implement necessary controls.
Provides support to the Brokerage team with any additional tasks and requests as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Insurance sector or Underwriting with a Bachelor's degree.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree is required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management. Other related disciplines or equivalent work experience will be considered.
Licenses and Certifications:
