About the Role

NASCAR is seeking a highly skilled Accountant, Accounts Receivable to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for creating manual invoices, adjustments/write-offs, and billing schedules for NASCAR Holdings and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creates invoices in Workday Software and researches/determines appropriate coding for miscellaneous invoice requests.
  • Creates customer invoice adjustments and write-offs.
  • Monitors/Creates billing schedules (determine appropriate type, billing terms, dates, etc.) from revenue contracts for various companies.
  • Prepares month-end journal entries and AR account Review.
  • Uses import files for the uploading of invoices, billing schedules, and journal entries into Workday software.
  • Prepares month-end account reconciliations.
  • Completes New Vendor Setup Forms when required by customers.
  • Assists with gathering information for the internal and external audits.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or Associate's degree in Accounting and two (2) years related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products with strong knowledge of Excel required.
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify accounting problems and generate reasonable solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines with a positive attitude and work ethic.
