  • Assist with Tax Estimates: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax estimates, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Conduct Tax Research: Conduct research on tax issues and regulations to ensure compliance with current laws and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Support Senior Accountants: Support senior accountants with tax planning and strategies for clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Review Client Records: Review client financial records and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Year-End Tax Planning: Assist with year-end tax planning and preparation of financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Client Inquiries: Respond to client inquiries regarding tax issues, notices, and audits, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain organized and accurate tax files and records, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and industry trends, ensuring expert knowledge and advice.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments on financial matters as needed, providing expert guidance and support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within a public accounting firm.
  • Tax Knowledge: Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem, Lacerte, UltraTax) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA Candidate: CPA candidate or in the process of obtaining CPA license is preferred but not required.
Pay Details:

$60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
