Job Summary

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, and digital solutions for freight and transit rail. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in producing highly engineered, custom-built mobile material handling machinery for rail-related markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations, adhering to product specifications and tolerances.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Operate hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Identify and repair units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Assist less experienced team members with knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a custom build shop preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, 3D prints, and schematics.
  • Ability to operate a computer to read and input data.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.
