Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee our post-acute rehabilitation area. This full-time position operates during daytime hours, with a schedule from Monday to Friday. The role includes being on-call every third weekend, ensuring continuous support for our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and manage nursing activities, ensuring high standards of resident care and accurate record-keeping.
- Allocate nursing staff to residents based on their individual needs and the staff's qualifications.
- Monitor cleanliness and readiness of resident care areas and nursing facilities.
- Step in to provide clinical support when necessary, filling staffing gaps as needed.
- Ensure adherence to the nursing process, providing individualized care to clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Assist with human resources processes, including staff management and training.
- Participate in budget preparation and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
- Previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of nursing standards and administrative techniques is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
