Job Title: Advanced Healthcare Services: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor for our post-acute area. This is a full-time days opportunity that will be scheduled Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with occasional on-call responsibilities.

Job Summary:

The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of 12 nurses and 15 CNA staff in the post-acute area of our facility. This role will involve managing nursing home staff and activities, including resident care and record-keeping. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of clinical practices, strategic planning, and administrative principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing home staff and activities, including resident care and record-keeping
  • Manage nursing staff assigned to a particular shift within the nursing home
  • Take action regarding provision of resources within the context of shifts or designated time frame
  • Assign residents to available nursing staff, taking into consideration the resident's condition and the employee's skill level
  • Monitor resident care areas and other nursing home facilities for cleanliness and readiness
  • Fulfill clinical support staff responsibilities when staffing gaps exist
  • Dependent on staffing needs, fill in as a point of contact for technical training and troubleshooting for staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
