We are seeking a highly skilled Counter Unmanned Systems Portfolio Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our defense acquisition team, you will play a critical role in driving policy and defense acquisition decisions for the Department of Defense's counter-unmanned systems portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Assess technical capabilities and evaluate readiness for counter-UAS systems
- Establish doctrine for the DoD's counter-unmanned systems portfolio
- Develop and recommend policy-driven solutions for counter-UAS capabilities
- Participate in senior executive engagements and develop reporting tools to monitor counter-UAS capabilities
- Work with senior leaders in portfolio management to drive project decisions
- 5+ years of experience in working with counter-UAS or other counter-unmanned system capabilities
- Experience with developing and routing senior-leader briefings, memos, DoD issuances, or congressional responses
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and comprehend the intent of a client's needs
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with assessing kinetic and non-kinetic counter-UAS effectors
- Experience with capabilities to find, fix, track, and target small UAS
- Knowledge of counter-UAS solutions for both CONUS and OCONUS installations and base protection
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Defense Acquisition University Courses in Systems Acquisition or the Defense Industry
