We are seeking a highly skilled Batching Operator to join our production team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our batching activities.
Key Responsibilities- Batching Operations: Precisely inspect, stage, weigh, and mix ingredients according to product recipes, collaborating with Quality Assurance Technicians to ensure analytical results meet quality standards.
- Preparation and Documentation: Pre-weigh, blend, and liquefy components for beverage preparation, accurately documenting lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas per customer regulations.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers, adhering to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Material Handling: Operate forklift to load/move various ingredients, following all safety procedures.
- Quality Control: Maintain general housekeeping and quality in all areas of batching, production, and assigned areas, accurately completing hourly inspection sheets based on overall product quality.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
- Skills: Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, overtime, and ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Experience: 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
- Skills: Forklift experience and ability to visually inspect product and materials.
