As a Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve and maintain recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized recovery plans with clients.
- Link clients to community resources and support services.
- Teach coping skills and provide non-clinical crisis support.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and court appearances.
- Engage clients in formal recovery support services.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) Certification required within six months of hire.
- One year of Health or Human Service experience preferred.
- Valid NYS Driver's License required.
