About the Role:
Solugenix Corp is collaborating with a distinguished investment management firm in search of a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is a 6-month contract opportunity that allows for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:
1. Calculate and manage intricate billing processes.
2. Analyze billing data to identify trends and discrepancies.
3. Ensure the accuracy of financial data and perform thorough proofreading of documents.
4. Generate precise invoices and billing schedules, as well as process incoming payments and related transactions.
5. Review schedules, transaction postings, or reconciliations performed by colleagues for accuracy and completeness.
6. Upload and manage billing and payment files within corporate financial systems.
7. Compile both standard and custom reports for review by peers and management, adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
8. Identify opportunities for process enhancements as necessary.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Strong judgment skills for resolving routine issues.
- Initiative to recognize and address issues for management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills in moderately complex scenarios.
