Job Overview

Staff Today Inc is actively seeking a Therapist III to provide services within a correctional environment. This role is part of our registry positions.

Compensation: $47 - $54 per hour

Position Details:
  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year (12 months) experience as a Therapist III
  • Current and valid Therapist III license from the State of Virginia
  • Valid CPR certification (American Heart Association)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs, executes, and assesses comprehensive individual and group therapy programs for all medically referred clients.
  • Exhibits advanced leadership capabilities in managing patient care, departmental initiatives, and committee participation.
  • Engages in educational, administrative, managerial, and quality assurance tasks as assigned.
  • Delivers proficient physical therapy treatment plans and maintains accurate documentation for all assigned patients in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Contributes to and participates in educational initiatives.
  • Acts as a Clinical Instructor for various levels of physical therapy students as required.
  • Assists in the supervision and assessment of assigned physical therapy staff or volunteers.
