Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer III to join our team at Scientific Research Corporation. As an Electrical Engineer III, you will be responsible for identifying, defining, analyzing, and generating complex specifications for test conduction, coordination of systems and analyses, proposal submittal, and performance of applied research and development in one or more of the following areas: RF systems requirements generation, RF hardware development, RF design and development, and RF systems integration and testing.

Key Responsibilities

* Develops, documents, and implements solutions to complex technical problems associated with the analysis, design, development, operation, and/or modification of RF engineering products and services
* Researches, analyzes, and conducts equipment (hardware/software) design and development, system analyses, process studies, and research investigations for complex technical problems in one or more of the following areas: radio wave propagation, digital signal processing, RF and/or digital hardware design and integration, threat RF systems exploitation, communications theory, waveform development and modeling, and electronic warfare systems
* Establishes, develops, and maintains an effective working interface and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customer
* Designs and develops RF distribution components, antennas, and feedlines in accordance with specifications and engineering standards for installation
* Designs, develops, tests, and supports various digital signal processing and radio frequency applications, such as antenna design, RF path analysis, Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications, low noise amplifier, mixers, turner evaluations, receiver, transmitter, digital filtering, analog filtering, and analog and digital signal modifications

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
* Six+ (6+) years of experience working as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements OR six+ (6+) years of experience working as a Computer Engineer in development, design, and prototyping requirements
* Experience in one or more of the following: threat system analysis, model development to match intelligence assessments, including waveform scheduling, correlation/tracking and signal processing, RF signals processing, RF algorithms/logic, system performance assessments of major subsystems, and demonstrated experience programming and configured one or more of the following: microcontrollers, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), System on a Chip (SoC), Platform on a Module (PoM), and single board computers
* Possess a current Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
