Pharmacy Technician II Job Description

Jubilant Radiopharma, a leading radiopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to join its team in Tallahassee, FL.

Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician II will perform duties to ensure the quality of products and proper functioning of equipment while working within the limitations of standard methods and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense sterile products under direct pharmacist supervision.
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of products to customers while complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or procedures.
  • Participate in preparation and dispensing of sterile products under direct pharmacist supervision.
  • Perform duties to ensure the quality of products and proper functioning of equipment.
  • Meet the requirements of the Board of Pharmacy, including licensure/certification and continuing education.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in a medical environment preferred.
  • Certified pharmacy technician preferred.
  • Achieves and maintains appropriate licensure/certification as required by the Board of Pharmacy.
  • Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions, where interpretation is required.
  • Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer focused; team oriented.
  • Light, occasional physical effort required to move, lift and deliver containers and boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
