Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse at Atrium Health, you will provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in one or more patient care departments. Your responsibilities will include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients served. You will also serve as an instructor, colleague, researcher, advocate, and leader, demonstrating competency in assuring quality care, Process Improvement, patient and employee safety, collaboration, consultation, and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Assume responsibility for planning, organizing, delegating, and evaluating patient care rendered by LPNs, technicians, medical receptionists, and other staff.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: None required.
- Certification/License/Registration: Current RN or eNLC license with the Georgia Board of Nursing. Current BLS required within 30 days of hire.
