Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical histories to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide nursing care within your scope of practice and refer complex medical issues to the appropriate physician.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients' symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Document all detainee/inmate contacts and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, unrestricted license to practice as a LPN in the state where the facility is located.
- Two (2) years of direct work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional facility.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide high-quality patient care.
