Job Overview

Paragon Energy Solutions is seeking a dedicated Logistics Receiving Specialist to enhance our operations. This role is crucial for managing the flow of materials and ensuring quality control during the receiving process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments while preparing items for dispatch.
  • Verify the details of shipments by comparing them with bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
  • Inspect incoming shipments, documenting any damages or discrepancies, and communicate with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Distribute items to appropriate departments and ensure outgoing shipments comply with specifications.
  • Manage inventory of shipping supplies and materials effectively.
  • Utilize forklifts or hand trucks to transport shipments from the receiving area to storage or workspaces.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in quality control inspections related to material handling.
  • Ability to operate basic calibrated testing equipment (e.g., calipers, multi-meters).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel); familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with shipping software such as UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, with minimal notice.
  • IPC-A-610 Certification is a plus.

Compensation: $20-$21 per hour
