We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Assistant to join our team of bio-medical researchers at Jefferson Health. The successful candidate will play a key role in carrying out experiments, recording and analyzing results, and collaborating with other team members to investigate the molecular mechanisms mediating diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a lab database of technical and animal protocols, plasmids, antibodies, and other key resources, ensuring accurate records of reagents.
- Troubleshoot experimental design malfunctions and implement solutions, interfacing directly with equipment manufacturers for adjustments and repairs.
- Instruct research personnel on specialized techniques and complex protocols, coordinate and participate in intra-collegial presentations and meetings, and train and mentor research personnel.
- Analyze results of experiments independently and develop scientific hypotheses related to ongoing work in the laboratory.
- Design experiments to test hypotheses and implement solutions to experimental design malfunctions.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in bench research required.
- Master's Degree.
Requirements: Proven expertise in immunology and hands-on experience with flow cytometry, including data analysis and interpretation.
