We are seeking a Data Engineer/Architecture Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team or department to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:
1. Trace lineage for client metrics across products and business lines.
2. Design and maintain blueprint of lineage record tracing, logical data models, and data quality rule recommendations.
3. Develop conceptual, logical, and metadata solutions using JSON schema.
4. Define model and rationalize target state logical data models, socialize with key stakeholders, and conduct walkthroughs.
5. Unify data concepts across finance, product leads, credit risk, and applications across Citi.
6. Lead requirement gathering sessions with business leads, operations, SMEs, technologists, and governance teams.
7. Inventory lineage records to create end-to-end transparency and expose fragmented data functions for process simplification.
8. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
9. Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary.

Qualifications:
1. 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Architecture, Data Science, and/or Data Modeling expertise.
2. 3+ years of experience in a managerial or lead role, managing data modeling or data governance teams.
3. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent, manage project teams, and drive performance in high-pressure environments.
4. Must have hands-on experience in developing large complex data models and building complex IT systems.
5. Experience in Capital Markets/Banking/Retail/Research domains.
6. Financial Industry knowledge in commercial banking, capital, and investment banking, and markets is a plus.
7. Strong experience in relational modeling, UML modeling, and metadata management tools.
8. Experience in Modeling and architecture tools such as Magic Draw, Ewin, Enterprise Architect is a plus.
9. Expertise in Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modeling, storage, security.
10. Good understanding of data governance - defining strategy, developing goals, principles, and policies.
11. Demonstrated influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills.
12. Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management.
13. Analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and have good interpersonal/communication skills.

Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
