LPN Substance Use Disorder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at New Vista of the Bluegrass, Inc. as a Substance Use Disorder Specialist. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, coordinate referrals, and participate in the planning and implementation of nursing care for patients receiving methadone or suboxone in an integrated care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and participate in the delivery of nursing care to assigned patients
  • Provide direct patient care, including dispensing methadone and administering injections as ordered
  • Coordinate referrals and treatment with outside facilities
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
Requirements:
  • Active LPN licensure with a minimum Associate's degree from the Kentucky Board of Nursing
  • Valid driver's license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
  • Preferred experience in office-based settings and psychiatric nursing
