Physiatrist (General PMR Botox) - Assistant, Associate, Full Professor (DOQ)

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic professional to join our team as an Academic Physiatrist. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will join an active academic physiatry clinical practice and a growing academic department. Faculty members mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and allied health professionals; including teaching, training, and general supervision in a clinical setting. Academic track and rank are determined by the applicant's qualifications and interests. Academic time is used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty/research expertise. Faculty will be active in their national organizations and foster an academic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient General Physiatry care within the M Health Fairview system.
- Work with the PM&R Medical Director/Division Director and leadership to build strong relationships with referring departments and units to maintain and strengthen the program.
- Participation in call coverage at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (IRF) on a rotating basis.
- Provide cross-coverage of inpatient services for absences, as needed.
- Working with APP's and trainees (medical students, residents, fellows, visiting students, and other allied health professionals) in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Physiatrists must be a graduate of an accredited PM&R residency training program, be board-certified or board-eligible with the American Board of PM&R (ABPM&R), be eligible to obtain a Minnesota Board of Medical Practice license, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
- Applicants must possess the skills to manage change and communicate effectively in a rapidly expanding department.
