Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator to support our diagnostic imaging team in Greenwood Village. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule diagnostic tests in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
  • Obtain and enter all insurance authorization and correspondence relating to referrals in patients' charts and/or electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Collect co-pays, deductible, and other out-of-pocket amounts at time of visit.
  • Arrange for patients to have financial counseling as needed.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and clinic/practice.
  • Follow policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the front office.
  • Communicate with patients about surgeries or tests being scheduled and potential prep work needed.
Qualifications

We require a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of office experience, and medical office experience is preferred. You must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and proficiency with computer systems. Microsoft (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is a plus.

All qualified candidates are required to pass a background check and non-federal drug test (which excludes marijuana) post offer of employment and prior to hire.
