Mixology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Iyia Miami. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by preparing and serving a wide range of drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with our standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Verify the age of customers and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
• Stay up-to-date with menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
• Monitor inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume, upscale environment.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Certification in Mixology or relevant training is a plus.
