Bar Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Service Specialist to join our team at The Canvas Bar, a new bar and craft cocktail establishment in the heart of Miami's Arts + Entertainment District. As a Bar Service Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our guests by providing exceptional service and crafting delicious beverages.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and friendly service to guests, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and efficiency
  • Offer menu recommendations and answer customer questions about beverage ingredients and preparation methods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Serve beverages to customers at the bar or in designated areas throughout the establishment
  • Engage with customers, building rapport and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions, understanding and following all cash handling procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bar Service Specialist, preferably in a high-volume establishment
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy shifts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drink preparation and order taking
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to serving alcohol
