Job Overview

MedPOINT Management, a leading MSO in the San Fernando Valley, seeks an experienced In-House IPA Representative to join its team. This role serves as a liaison between IPA clients, contracted providers, and health plans.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing provider onboarding, updates, and termination processes for MedPOINT Management's managed client IPAs. Key duties include:

  • Maintaining frequent, timely, and productive communication with IPA clients, providers, health centers, and health plans.
  • Performing PNO triage functions, addressing issues and requests raised by providers, and routing communications to the appropriate teams for successful resolution.
  • Assisting in research of provider-related issues, including demographic information, contracting status, credentialing status, claim issues, and status in MPM's client database.
  • Ensuring accuracy among assigned IPA profiles within EZ-CAP database.
  • Maintaining timely and thorough communication with PNO Rate Configuration and Contracts, Credentialing, and Compliance Teams on terminations and contract status changes for rate adjustments and recruitment.
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Managed Care or Healthcare, specifically in Provider Network Management.
  • A thorough understanding of provider network management processes.
  • EZ-CAP knowledge and experience are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Salary and Benefits
